Yes, I know. Alot of Sci-fi type art recently. Sorry. I like it.

Anyway, somewhere along with the cloud rendering process, I figured if you screw with it right, you can get the clouds to form a texture. It's just a matter of rotation, and combining layers. I think it looks decent enough.

Made on Photoshop CS 8.

Hate to not be as enthusiastic as the other guys, but theres a few crucial things wrong with it. (sorry if im too frank). First off, your stars are extremely uniform. Stars need to have depth and variation to them. Also there is no light source, so wheres this lgit hcoming from? Just a couple things to work on. I would definately recommend this article by Greg Martin, the god of space art:
